Our client is a world leader in the manufacture, modification and servicing of specialist products for the rail industry.
They are looking for an experienced Engineer, with Electrical bias, to work within the Engineering department.

The role will involve supporting ongoing projects through modification design, overhaul validation and service/operations support and producing all necessary supporting documents
Working in a dynamic Engineering environment, interfacing between Mechanical Engineering, Sales, Production and Project Management, the individual will be heavily involved in all aspects of electrical and Software engineering design, product implementation as well as supporting commissioning activities off-site.
The successful applicant will be qualified to at least HNC/HND Degree level in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and will have experience of working with
PLC based programming languages, including Ladder Logic, Structured Text, FBD’s and Sequential Function Charts.
Experience of working on Projects to support the life cycle of a product, developing solutions and implementing solutions to field service issues together with experience of working with customers and understanding their requirements is all essential.
Preference is for an Engineer, who has field experience working on HVAC and Air cooling equipment ideally within the rail industry although this is not essential.
