Job Description
This position involves overseeing projects and liaising with clients to ensure work is completed on time and to budget, meeting with clients to take on the initial specifications of the electrical design requirements for bespoke machinery, and overseeing the design, manufacture, testing & delivery of the project while ensuring a cost effective, efficient process is adhered to. Applicants must be experienced in designing electrical drive and/or motor systems for bespoke equipment that operates in all weather and rough terrain (heavy construction plant, trains, tracked vehicles etc), and ideally have worked in a design office for a number of years before progressing into a Design / Project Engineering role. Candidates should be qualified to HNC level in electrical engineering, but lesser qualifications will be considered for significant experience
